About the School & the Principal - Sharon
Forster
 |
|
|
Essence Aromatherapy Training
and Development was developed after Sharon Forster discovered that there was a
lack of professional and post graduate training in East Sussex leading to
recognised professional qualifications in the therapies offered. The school has
earned an excellent reputation for the highest standards of tuition and is
fully accredited by the AAPA.
Sharon initially trained and
qualified as an Aromatherapist in 1996. Her continuing interest in this therapy
has led her to become a Qualified Tutor (City and Guilds), Assessor and trained
Infant Massage Instructor. |
|
Sharon has added to her knowledge and has
undertaken further post graduate studies in Clinical Aromatherapy, Advanced
Cosmetology, Massage for Pregnancy Labour and Birth, Advanced Massage
Techniques, Indian Head Massage, Thermal Auricular Therapy and Slavic Massage,
and has also studied with Dr. Penéöl. She is a member of the
English Société L'Institut Pierre Franchome, France. In addition,
Sharon is a full member of the Aromatherapy and Allied Practitioners'
Association (AAPA).
Sharon is also registered with the
Aromatherapy Council and is on the board of the General Council for Massage
Therapy where she is actively involved with the future development of
massage.
Sharon teaches Diploma Courses in Anatomy,
Physiology and Holistic Massage (ITEC), Clinical Aromatherapy (ITEC) and Indian
Head Massage (ITEC) and regularly lectures in East Sussex.
